His Majesty the King’s Representative for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, National Security Advisor and Supreme Council for Youth and Sports Affairs (SCYS) Chairman His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa received Youth and Sports Affairs Minister Ayman bin Tawfiq Almoayyed, who introduced to him a youth delegation led by Nada Al-Daihani, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Brilliant Lab startup, and Haya Al-Mana, Sustainability and Innovation director at Zain Kuwait. He was updated by Al-Daihani on the work carried out by the Kuwaiti youth delegation and the company "Brilliant Lab" aimed at providing advisory and technical services to support small and medium youth institutions to ensure their administrative development. Al Mana presented an overview of the company’s programme theme, “Zain Great Idea”, through which she addresses young people to enter the world of business and trade, and highlights youth’s ideas and works in order to highlight them in a modern approach. The delegation said that the cooperation between Kuwaiti and Bahraini youth would gain momentum in the future by establishing more activities in the field of entrepreneurship in addition to participating in upcoming international conferences and events, which paves the way to building a distinguished partnership. The meeting focused on the programmes and services offered by the Labor Fund (Tamkeen), benefiting Bahraini youth, stressing and initiatives to launch small and medium-sized entrepreneurship projects (SMEs). The focus was also on the Start-up Bahrain, a community initiative that brings together businessmen, companies, investors, incubators, educational institutions and the government of Bahrain with the aim of enhancing the culture of startups. His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, National Security Advisor and Chairman of the Supreme Council of Youth and Sports, will participate in the Arab Youth Leaders’ Summit in Abu Dhabi slated to be held under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Presidential Affairs, President of the Arab Youth Center, in partnership with the League of Arab States, in Abu Dhabi on December 10-11, the Arab Youth Center announced. HH Shaikh Nasser said the participation in activities that bolster the joint Arab work to empower Arab youths in their countries, provides opportunity to coordinate the efforts and unify the strategic goals especially at the ministerial, governmental and semi-governmental institutions to launch effective initiatives that will contribute in opening up new horizons for Arab youths in the various fields including academic, knowledge, training, professional career or work as well as innovation to contribute on the paths of the economic, social and human development. HH Shaikh Nasser added that Abu Dhabi’s hosting this first of its kind event in the Arab world creates a shared Arab organization to support Arab youth initiatives and programs for preparation of Arab youth leaders capable of possession of taking the initiative for excellence and entrepreneurship in various fields as well as effective contribution in national progress and advancement of human civilization. The Arab Youth Leaders congregation brings together ministers, decision-makers from the various governmental and semi-governmental entities. The meetings will include exclusive interviews, interactive sessions and meetings to boost Arab youth official work as well as unify the visions and aspirations to serve urgent Arab youth issues, future planning within the shared innovative youth organization. He said that the participation of international diplomats is crucial to enhance the international presence and contributes to the development of diplomatic work and the exchanging of practices and the establishment of an international network. He highlighted the royal vision spearheaded by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa, aimed to turn the Kingdom of Bahrain into a gate as well as an incubator of innovative ideas in all fields towards attracting investments from all over the world. HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa commended outstanding diplomats who joined the “International Diplomats Program”, which was launched by the Mohammed Bin Mubarak Al Khalifa Academy for Diplomatic Studies” and recognized by the Government innovation competition (Fikra). An edict allowing Bahrainis aged 18 to 21 to establish commercial companies and exercise trade activities has come into force. The move is base on results of a study, jointly conducted by the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments, the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism and the Ministry Youth and Sports Affairs. His Majesty’s Representative for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS) Chairman His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa hailed royal directives to empower youth in all fields, particularly the trade sector. He stressed the importance of the new edict which, he said, would emable Bahraini young people to build a better future by establishing trade projects and small and medium enterprises (SMEs) which represent an integral part of the national economy. His highlighted the vision of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier to facilitate the entry of Bahraini young people into the labour market and establish trade companies. He commended the efforts exerted by the Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments Shaikh Khalid bin Ali Al-Khalifa, the Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism Zayed bin Rashid Alzayani and the Minister of Youth and Sports Affairs Aymen bin Tawfiq Almoayyed. The edict stipulates the regulations allowing minors and people aged 18 to set up trade companies. It represents the fruit yielded by the 2018 Youth Summit, which was one of the initiatives of the national programme to develop the youth and sports sectors.more
