His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Royal Humanitarian Foundation, praised the Kingdom of Bahrain's qualitative growth in the number of volunteers and youth and community initiatives. His Highness affirmed that the leadership's support has created an environment that encourages innovation and creativity in volunteer work and empowers young people to play a pivotal role in humanitarian and social initiatives inside and outside the Kingdom. On International Volunteer Day, which falls on December 5th, His Highness added that humanitarian and volunteer work is an inherent value among Bahraini youth and a fundamental pillar of the national identity. His Highness affirmed the great contribution of Bahraini youth and their continuous efforts in various initiatives implemented by government, private and civil institutions. The signing ceremony was attended by Abdullah Jehad Al Zain, Chairman of Bahrain Victorious, and Mahdi Amjad, Founder and Executive Chairman of OMNIYAT Group, a diversified multi-brand portfolio, including OMNIYAT. The agreement was signed on behalf of Team Victorious by Milan Eržen, General Manager of Bahrain Victorious, and Peter Stephenson, Co-Managing Director of OMNIYAT. Under the partnership, the group will support the team at both competitive and community levels. His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, participated as a keynote speaker at TEDxDilmun, a global event held for the first time in the Kingdom of Bahrain with wide participation from influential figures from Bahrain, the region, and the world, under a theme based on four main pillars: Exploration, Discovery, Growth, and Engagement, in the presence of Fatima bint Jaafar Al-Sairafi, Minister of Tourism,Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi, Minister of Youth Affairs, and a number of officials. His Highness shared a range of personal experiences and humanitarian insights that inspired the attendees, speaking about success, determination, and discipline. Lieutenant General His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, National Security Advisor, Royal Guard Commander and Secretary-General of the Supreme Defence Council, directed to launch the second edition of the TV programme ‘Qadha’ (You Can Do It) on ‘Shahid’ platform for free, with 10 episodes starting from November 13th. On the occasion, His Highness affirmed that the programme is one of the initiatives that aim to instill the values of loyalty, military training, self-discipline, teamwork and spirit of initiative in Bahraini youth, as they are the cornerstone of progress and construction. His Highness pointed out that the second edition is more challenging and in-depth, as it includes intensive field experiences that enables young people to discover their true abilities, and teaches them patience, endurance, facing difficulties, creativity, challenge and leadership, to be able to face challenges and build the country's future with confidence and competence. His Highness added that the launch of this new edition is in line with the national approach to prepare a strong-willed Bahraini generation capable of facing various circumstances and ready to effectively shape the future of the nation. His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Prime Minister, delegated Lieutenant General His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, National Security Advisor, Royal Guard Commander and Secretary-General of the Supreme Defence Council, to inaugurate the third edition of the Arab International Cybersecurity Conference and Exhibition (AICS 2025), which is being held this year in strategic partnership with DEF CON for the first time in the region, and will continue until November 6th, 2025 at Exhibition World Bahrain. The headquarters is designed to support youth development in entrepreneurship, financial literacy, digital skills, and sports innovation. His Highness Lieutenant General Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, National Security Advisor, Royal Guard Commander and Secretary General of the Supreme Defence Council, signed a memorandum of understanding in the field of security between the General Secretariat of the Supreme Defence Council of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the National Security Council of Cyprus, within the framework of the 21st Regional Security Summit ‘Manama Dialogue 2025’. At the signing of the MoU, the Cypriot side was represented by Tassos Tsezonis, National Security Advisor and Director of the Intelligence Service of Cyprus, in the presence of Shaikh Khalid bin Ali Al Khalifa, Deputy National Security Advisor, Deputy Secretary General of the Supreme Defence Council, and Shaikh Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Strategic Security Bureau. On the occasion, His Highness affirmed that the signing of the MoU is part of Bahrain's vision to expand its international partnerships in the field of security, noting that the MoU is a strategic step that enhances security cooperation with Cyprus, contributes to the development of security networks, and supports joint preparations to face regional and global challenges, thereby serving the security and stability of the two countries and the region. His Highness added that the strong relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of Cyprus have witnessed continuous growth in various fields, and this partnership reflects mutual trust and a keenness to develop effective cooperation in light of global changes, foremost among which are security and economic aspects. The memorandum includes cooperation in the exchange of security information and expertise, training and continuous coordination between the two sides, and supports the two countries' efforts to consolidate regional and international security and stability, in addition to holding bilateral meetings and addressing future common security challenges in a manner that enhances the efficiency of security work and upgrades the strategic structures in both countries. His Highness and Tsezonis discussed a number of topics of mutual interest and reviewed the existing cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of Cyprus.more
