Lieutenant General His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, National Security Advisor and Royal Guard Commander, received the working team of the second edition of the ‘Gadha’ program, its trainers and supervisors, and a number of participants. His Highness expressed his appreciation for the continued support provided by Colonel His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Commander of Special Operations of the Royal Guard, for the success of the programme's second edition. His Highness affirmed that this support has contributed to establishing ‘Gadeha’ as a leading national platform that highlights and empowers young talent in various fields and promotes the values of teamwork, commitment and discipline. His Highness also affirmed that the programme's widespread success and positive reception both inside and outside the Kingdom of Bahrain was the result of integrated and concerted efforts. His Highness praised the participants' spirit of challenge, determination and perseverance, which honed their skills through practical, real-life experiences in the military field. Lieutenant General His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, National Security Advisor and Royal Guard Commander, received a delegation of US Congress members led by Congressman Darin LaHood. The meeting was attended by Shaikh Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Strategic Security Bureau, within the framework of the mutual keenness to continue developing the existing cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United States of America. During the meeting, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad affirmed the strategic importance of the Bahraini-US relations and their continuous development in various fields. His Highness stressed the importance of continuing to coordinate joint efforts to support regional and international security and stability and enhance mutual interests between the two countries. Lieutenant General His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, National Security Advisor and Royal Guard Commander, received a delegation from the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO) Parliamentary Assembly, led by Lord Lancaster, Member of the UK's House of Lords and Chair of the Assembly’s Defence and Security Committee. At the beginning of the meeting, His Highness affirmed the depth of the strong relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and NATO, and the importance of strengthening strategic partnerships with friendly countries and international organizations, to support joint efforts aimed at enhancing regional and international security and establishing stability and peace in the region. During the meeting, they reviewed and discussed regional and international developments, exchanged views on recent developments, and affirmed the need to intensify joint efforts to end ongoing regional and international conflicts and ensure the preservation of global security and stability. The meeting also addressed topics and issues of mutual interest, stressing the importance of working towards sustainable peace in the region and supporting all paths aimed at achieving development and prosperity for the benefit of its peoples.more
On Nov. 1, representatives from the Kingdom of Bahrain, United Kingdom, and United States convened the Comprehensive Security Integration and Prosperity Agreement (C-SIPA) - Defence Working Group (DWG) annual meeting hosted in Bahrain. The meeting was attended by HH Lieutenant General Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, National Security Advisor, Royal Guard Commander, Secretary General of the Supreme Council for Defence of the Kingdom of Bahrain; Air Chief Marshal Sir Richard Knighton, Chief of the Defence Staff of the United Kingdom; and Adm. Brad Cooper, commander of U.S. Central Command. DWG members welcomed the United Kingdom’s accession to C-SIPA as advancing collective security efforts, noting that the UK’s expertise and long-standing commitment to regional and global stability significantly reinforce the strategic objectives of the Agreement. Participants reiterated their commitment to treat any external aggression against the sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity of any of the parties as a matter of grave concern under Article II of the agreement. They also expressed the importance of working together against hostile actors and malign activities that threaten regional security and international stability. The discussions underscored C-SIPA’s role as a distinguished platform for advancing collective security and regional deterrence.more
Based on Royal Decree (30) of 2024 transferring the affiliation of the National Cybersecurity Centre to the Supreme Defence Council, and Royal Decree (17) of 2025 concerning the centre, Lieutenant General His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, National Security Advisor, Commander of the Royal Guard, and Secretary General of the Supreme Defence Council, issued Decision (2) of 2025 appointing directors at the National Cybersecurity Centre, following the recommendation of the centre’s Chief Executive Officer. According to the decision, the following appointments were made: Ahmed Isa Ahmed Abulfateh, Director of the National Response Directorate. Ali Mohammed Ahmed Al Zayani, Director of the Cyber Defence Directorate. Shaikha Manar bint Abdulla bin Ali Al Khalifa, Director of the Systems Development and Artificial Intelligence Directorate. Yousef Mohamed Ali Muthanna, Director of the Cyber Governance Directorate. Salman Duaij Khalifa Al Yasi, Director of the Information Systems Operations Directorate. Noof Juma Rashid Al Jowder, Director of the Resources and Services Directorate. Jawaher Jasim Mohamed Al Khaja, Director of the Cyber Awareness and Training Directorate. Budoor Ahmed Ali Al Kuwari, Director of the Follow-up and Coordination Directorate. The Chief Executive Officer of the National Cybersecurity Centre shall implement the provisions of this decision, which takes effect from the date of issuance.more
Lieutenant General His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, National Security Advisor and Royal Guard Commander, attended the opening of the Al-Rawdha Camp roundabout, in the presence of Major General Hamad Khalifa Al Nuaimi, Deputy Commander of the Royal Guard, Brigadier General Khalid Mohammed Al-Dosari, Chief of the Administration Division at the Royal Guard and General Supervisor of the design of the Al-Rawdha Camp Roundabout, a number of senior officers, non-commissioned officers, and members of the Royal Guard. The roundabout features a monument commemorating the achievement of the Royal Guard members, in reaching the summit of Mount Everest. The ceremony was attended by these champions. His Highness affirmed that this monument stands as a testament to the bravery and determination of the Royal Guard, who raised the flag of the Kingdom of Bahrain on the highest peak in the world, adding that it also embodies the determination of the people of Bahrain, thanks to the support they receive from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and the follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. His Highness explained that this achievement will remain a shining example in the history of the Kingdom of Bahrain, adding that it is not merely a sporting achievement, but a national message that embodies the spirit of teamwork, solidarity and the unwavering determination of the Bahraini people. His Highness noted that the monument is a lasting symbol for future generations. His Highness received artist Khalil Al Madhoun, President of the Bahrain Contemporary Art Association, the designer of the monument. During the meeting, His Highness commended his remarkable efforts in highlighting the achievements of the Royal Guard and wished him continued success. At the end of the meeting, His Highness was presented with a commemorative gift by Brigadier General Khalid Mohammed Al Dosari, also designed by artist Khalil Al Madhoun.more

His Highness affirmed that the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United States have historical relations and a distinguished strategic partnership, which spans decades of joint cooperation and coordination to serve common goals and interests. His Highness praised the efforts exerted by the US Ambassador in enhancing and developing relations between the two countries. During the meeting, His Highness reviewed with the US Ambassador a number of topics of common interest.more

Lieutenant General His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, National Security Advisor and Commander of the Royal Guard, met the National Security Advisor of the Republic of Cyprus Mr. Tasos Tzionis. During the meeting, His Highness emphasized the continuous commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of Cyprus, to further enhance relations between the two countries in line with shared goals and objectives. The two sides also discussed various issues of mutual interest. For his part, Mr. Tzionis expressed his gratitude and appreciation to His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa for his efforts in further developing bilateral relations between the two friendly countries. National Security Advisor, Royal Guard Commander, Lieutenant-General His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, hailed the impressive success of the "Qadha" show, the biggest Bahraini TV production and the first of its kind in the Arab world. The first episode of the programme was broadcast last Friday on Shahid streaming platform, reflecting Bahraini youth's innovative potential and creativity. HH Shaikh Nasser made the statement as he received, the presence of Royal Guard Special Force Commander Staff Colonel HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the production team, as well as the top three winners- Ali Sajjad Hussein Dhaif (178), who won the challenge, along with Khalid Waleed Isa (95) and Khalifa Saif Al Dosary (330), who ranked second and third respectively. HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad hailed Bahraini youth's determination and passion for excellence, creativity and innovation as reflected in the show which was produced by national competence. He commended the level of the media show which reflected a positive image of Bahrain, stressing the need for such programmes that promote the Kingdom and embody Bahrainis' determination in braving all challenges. He also praised coaches for their professionalism in directing and training participating on a range of military challenges to be partners in the success of the show. HH Shaikh Nasser congratulated the top winners for their outstanding performance which reflected Bahrainis' resilience and resolve to brave challenges, hoping they will continue so as they become ambassadors of the nation in the future. Programme supervisor and director Ahmed Al Sheikh then presented HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad and HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad with gifts as a token of gratitude for their support.more
