His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, participated in the (PRO-AM) category of the Hero Dubai Desert Classic golf tournament, held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, as part of the Rolex Series of the "Race to Dubai 2026", with a prize fund of US$9 million. His Highness participated in a team that included Irish international star Rory McIlroy, Tony Maiolo, and Dr. Pawan Munjal, delivering an outstanding performance throughout the tournament. His Highness affirmed that the participation was positive and distinctive, amid friendly competition with an elite group of world golf stars in the PRO-AM category. His Highness praised the great efforts made by the United Arab Emirates in hosting and organising international tournaments, wishing all participants success. The Hero Dubai Desert Classic is one of the most prominent sporting events, attracting the world's best golf players, including Rory McIlroy, who holds the record for the most tournament wins (four times).more
His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, attended the ceremony organized by the Capital Governorate on the occasion of announcing Manama as the Capital of Young Arab Entrepreneurs for 2026, which was approved by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization “UNIDO”, in the presence of Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi, the Minister of Youth Affairs, a number of officials and representatives of regional and international institutions concerned with entrepreneurship and youth empowerment. On the occasion, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad affirmed that the selection of Manama as the Capital of Young Arab Entrepreneurs, reflects the wise vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, which made the youth a key focus of comprehensive development and a strategic investment in Bahraini and Arab youth. His Highness also noted that the achievements in the field of entrepreneurship are the result of the continuous support and follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, whose guidance consolidated the Kingdom of Bahrain's status as a regional centre supporting innovation and entrepreneurial initiatives. His Highness added that this selection is a renewed responsibility to strengthen the entrepreneurship system and open broader horizons for Arab youth to innovate, compete and create future opportunities. His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, attended the third round of the fifth edition of the Bahrain Turf Series, held as part of the 14th race of the 2025–2026 season at the Rashid Equestrian and Horseracing Club racecourse in Al Raffah, Sakhir. The event was also attended by His Highness Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid Al Khalifa, Vice President of the Supreme Council for Environment, Deputy Chairman of the High Committee of the Rashid Equestrian and Horseracing Club, and Member of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports. The race meeting was contested for the Cup of His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister’s Court and Chairman of the High Committee of the Rashid Equestrian and Horseracing Club, in addition to the cups of His Highness’s sons: His Highness Shaikh Hamad bin Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, His Highness Shaikh Abdulla bin Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and His Highness Shaikh Salman bin Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa. The programme also included Al Adiyat Cup, sponsored by Bareeq, Al Wasmiya Cup, sponsored by the National Bank of Bahrain, as part of the Bahrain Turf Series, alongside Al Adiyat Bahrain-Bred Cup and the Huntsman Cup. A number of Their Highnesses and Excellencies, members of the diplomatic corps, representatives of sponsoring entities, and a large audience attended the race meeting, which featured strong competition across the various races. Winners of the race cups were crowned, with His Highness Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid Al Khalifa presenting the first-round trophy to the winning trainer Abdulla Kuwaiti, the fifth-round trophy to winning trainers Daniel and Claire Kubler, and the sixth-round trophy to His Highness Shaikh Sultan Al Deen bin Mohammed bin Salman Al Khalifa. Zaid Yousif Khonji, Member of the High Committee of the Rashid Equestrian and Horseracing Club, presented the third-round trophy to the winning owner Mohammed Khalid Abdulrahim, while His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Ali Al Khalifa received the fourth-round trophy from Khaled Hussain Taqi, also a member of the High Committee. In addition, His Highness Shaikh Sultan Al Deen bin Mohammed bin Salman Al Khalifa received the second-round trophy from Taj Phull, Managing Director of Huntsman Company. As part of the Bahrain Turf Series, Usman Ahmed, Chief Executive Officer of the National Bank of Bahrain, presented Al Wasmiya Cup to the representative of the winning owner Think And Become, following the victory of the horse Another Baar, which won first place in the fifth round. Awards were also presented to the winning trainer and jockey. Ayoob Al Awadhi, Board Member and Acting Chief Executive Officer of Bareeq Al Retaj, presented Al Adiyat Cup to trainer George Scott after the Bahraini horse Phantom Flight, owned by Victorious Forever, claimed victory in the sixth round of the series. The horse won the title for the second consecutive season. Six additional races were also held as part of the evening’s racing programme.more
His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and Captain of the Royal Endurance Team, participated in the 100 km International Endurance Race, as part of the His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa Endurance Cup, held under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Chairman of the General Sports Authority and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, and organised by the Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation. His Highness’s participation was followed by His Highness Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid Al Khalifa, Vice President of the Supreme Council for Environment, Deputy Chairman of the High Committee of the Rashid Equestrian and Horseracing Club, and Member of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sport, His Highness Shaikh Hamad bin Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa. His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad’s participation confirms his continued support of endurance racing, and his keenness to be present at national and international championships. His Highness affirmed that endurance racing is one of the cornerstones of Bahraini equestrian sports, as these races enhance the values of challenge and discipline. His Highness noted that His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad’s support of the championship has contributed to creating a qualitative shift in endurance racing and increased the competitiveness of Bahraini riders and their ability to excel regionally and internationally. His Highness praised the wide participation in the championship, affirming that this large turnout reflects the prestigious status of endurance racing. His Highness wished success to the riders participating in the private stables race, which will be held on Saturday. Lieutenant General His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, National Security Advisor, Royal Guard Commander and Secretary General of the Supreme Defence Council, attended and patronized the meeting of the members of the General Secretariat of the Supreme Defence Council, in the presence of Shaikh Khalid bin Ali bin Jaber Al Khalifa, Deputy National Security Adviser and Deputy Secretary General of the Supreme Defence Council, and all members of the General Secretariat.

The opening ceremony was also attended by His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, and a number of heads of state, heads of government and representatives, as well as experts, stakeholders and specialists in the field of sustainability from around the world. Lieutenant General His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, National Security Advisor and Royal Guard Commander, attended the Royal Guard Commander's Parade as part of ongoing monitoring of readiness and discipline levels. The parade was attended by Colonel His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Commander of the Royal Guard Special Operations, Major General Hamad Khalifa Al Noaimi, Deputy Royal Guard Commander, senior officers, non-commissioned officers and Royal Guard members. The parade was held at the Square of Fallen Serviceman Lieutenant Colonel Abdullah Rashid Al-Noaimi in Al Rawdha Camp, where the Royal Guard Commander's Parade is held twice a year as part of comprehensive follow-up plans. At the beginning of the event, the Commander's Salute was played, then the parade commander requested permission from His Highness the National Security Advisor and Royal Guard Commander to inspect the parade, during which His Highness reviewed the level of readiness and discipline, then the military parade began, reflecting the high level of competence of the Royal Guard members. His Highness affirmed that the continuous development witnessed by the Royal Guard of the Bahrain Defence Force is thanks to Allah the Almighty, and the royal support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces.
