Her Highness Shaikha Sheema bint Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Head of Humanitarian Voluntary Initiatives at the Royal Humanitarian Foundation, visited Salmaniya Medical Complex to check on the health of those injured from Sitra and other areas as a result of the hostile Iranian attacks that targeted residential neighbourhoods and civilian infrastructure, as part of the humanitarian volunteer initiatives (Sheyam Al Khair). During the visit, Her Highness conveyed to them the greetings of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, His Majesty’s Representative for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs, and their wishes for a speedy recovery, praying to Allah Almighty to grant them lasting good health and happiness. Her Highness also presented gifts to the injured children, in a humanitarian gesture that brought them joy. Her Highness wished them a speedy recovery and continued health and well-being. Her Highness was accompanied by Dr Jalila bint Al Sayed Jawad Hassan, Minister of Health and Dr Mariam Athbi Al Jalahma, CEO of Government Hospitals.more
Lieutenant General His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, National Security Advisor and Royal Guard Commander conveyed the condolences of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces to the family of the Bahraini woman who passed away as a result of Iran's hostile aggression, as His Highness offered his condolences to the family of the deceased. Colonel His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Commander of the Royal Guard’s Special Operations also offered his condolences. Their Highnesses were accompanied by Shaikh Khalid bin Humood Al Khalifa, Capital Governor. His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa offered his deepest condolences to the family of the deceased, praying to Allah Almighty to rest her soul in eternal paradise and grant her family patience and solace. His Highness affirmed the solidarity of the people of Bahrain with the family of the deceased, praying to Allah Almighty to protect the Kingdom of Bahrain and maintain its security and stability under the leadership of His Majesty the King.more
The Humanitarian Volunteer Initiatives Team (Sheyam Al Khair) led by Her Highness Shaikha Sheema bint Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Head of Humanitarian Voluntary Initiatives at the Royal Humanitarian Foundation, participated in preparing more than 400 Iftar meals at the Foundation's Netaj Khair Al Bahrain headquarters, as part of the ‘Iftar Saem’ initiative organised by Netaj. Her Highness also participated in preparing the Iftar table for the residents of one of the shelters and had Iftar with them, reflecting social solidarity and compassion during the holy month of Ramadan. Her Highness Shaikha Sheema bint Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa also presented gifts to the children at the shelter to bring them joy and share the Ramadan spirit with them, which reflects humanitarian concern for children and families in such circumstances. The event was attended by Eng. Ibrahim Dalhan Al Dosari, Acting Secretary-General of the Royal Humanitarian Foundation, and the voluntary humanitarian initiatives team.more
His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, His Majesty’s Representative for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs, received the "Nasser Al Bina'a" team from Ibn Khuldoon National School as part of His Highness's keenness to support youth initiatives and promote volunteer work in the Kingdom of Bahrain. His Highness affirmed that the "Nasser Al Bina'a" project is a model of meaningful youth initiatives that reflect the spirit of giving and teamwork among Bahraini youth. His Highness pointed out that the community and humanitarian initiatives offered by the team embody the authentic values of the Bahraini society and confirms the ability of young people to serve and develop society. His Highness praised the efforts of the team in implementing volunteer projects that have a tangible positive impact on society, wishing them continued success. During the meeting, His Highness was briefed on the initiatives undertaken by the ‘Nasser Al Binaa’ team with the support and follow-up of the Nasser Al Khair Organisation. Among these initiatives are the restoration and maintenance of old houses, the development and equipping of educational facilities and centres for people with special needs, in addition to supporting small projects that empower individuals and create new opportunities for them. On March 5, 2026, The Kingdom of Bahrain, along with the United States and the United Kingdom, held extraordinary consultations under Article II of the Comprehensive Security Integration and Prosperity Agreement (C-SIPA). HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, National Security Advisor, Secretary General of the Supreme Defense Council of the Kingdom of Bahrain, consulted with Admiral Brad Cooper, Commander of the United States Central Command, and Air Chief Marshal Sir Richard Knighton, Chief of the Defense Staff of the United Kingdom, all members of the C-SIPA Defense Working Group (DSW). DSW members discussed the current security landscape in the region, notably the hostile Iranian aggression that seeks to blatantly undermine the security and stability of the Kingdom of Bahrain and neighboring nations. All parties underscored the robust partnership and collaboration between their countries, reaffirming their shared commitment to addressing challenges to regional security and stability collectively. The DWG discussions highlighted the strategic partnership established under C-SIPA, which underlines mutual commitments to enhance security cooperation and collective deterrence against external threats. All partners reiterated their dedication to continuing to work together to confront external aggressions that may threaten any member’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. This commitment reflects the deep ties between the C-SIPA member nations and their alignment on the necessary security measures to ensure peace and stability across the region.more

His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, His Majesty's Representative for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs and Captain of the Royal Endurance Team, participated in the 100-km international qualifying race held as part of the Ramadan competitions organised by the Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation at the Bahrain International Endurance Village, in the presence of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Chairman of the General Sports Authority and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee. The race also saw the participation of His Highness Shaikh Hamad bin Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa and His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa. His Highness Shaikh Abdullah bin Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa took part in the 40-kilometre local qualifying race and successfully completed it. His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa was keen to guide his sons and follow their performance during the race, sharing his field experience with them to enhance their technical readiness for endurance competitions. His Highness affirmed that qualifying races are important for preparing riders and horses, noting that holding these competitions during Ramadan strengthens the spirit of challenge and competition among participants. His Highness noted the continuous keenness to participate with his sons in these races, as they represent an important opportunity to gain field experience and instil the values of endurance sports, including patience, discipline and teamwork, contributing to the continued success of Bahrain in the sport.more
As an extension of the royal approach to building houses of worship and spreading their spiritual message in society, and under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, with the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, His Majesty’s Representative for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs opened the Shaikha Nayla bint Hamad bin Mohammed Al Khalifa Mosque at Marah Al Hejin in the Southern Governorate, in the presence of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Chairman of the General Sports Authority and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee. Also present were, His Highness Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid Al Khalifa, Vice President of the Supreme Council for Environment, Deputy Chairman of the High Committee of the Rashid Equestrian and Horseracing Club, and Member of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, Retired Major General Shaikh Ahmed bin Salman bin Duaij Al Khalifa, Shaikh Dr. Rashid bin Mohammed bin Futais Al Hajri, Chairman of the Sunni Waqf Council, and a number of officials. His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa unveiled the mosque's commemorative plaque, then toured the mosque's facilities and reviewed the services it offers to worshippers. On the occasion, His Highness affirmed that the Kingdom of Bahrain's continued focus on building and renovating mosques during the prosperous reign of His Majesty the King, reflects the ongoing approach to spreading the values and teachings of Islam, which are based on moderation and tolerance and promoting fraternity in society. His Highness pointed out that mosques play a pivotal role in developing religious values, strengthening national unity, consolidating social cohesion, and building a cohesive society inspired by the principles of Islam. His Highness expressed his appreciation to all those who contributed to building the mosque, which will enable citizens and residents to perform their religious rituals.more
