Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, National Security Advisor and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sport (SCYS) His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa received today Prime Minister’s Court Undersecretary Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid bin Khalifa Al Khalifa.
HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa welcomed Shaikh Mohammed, wishing him success in assuming his responsibilities after being appointed as Prime Minister’s Court Undersecretary. He also lauded Shaikh Mohammed’s administrative experience and discussed with him ways of boosting joint cooperation mainly in the sport and youth fields.more
Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, National Security Advisor and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sport (SCYS) His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa posted on his personal Instagram account a photo of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and Egyptian President Abdelfattah El-Sisi. HH Shaikh Nasser commented on the photo with “Long Live Egypt”, pointing out deep-rooted historical relations between both countries. He stressed strong fraternal ties binding the Kingdom of Bahrain and Egypt, underlining the importance of continuous cooperation to serve the interests of both countries. HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa commended the role of President Abdelfattah El-Sisi in boosting bilateral relations, taking pride in solid relations between both countries in various fields.more
HM the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, National Security Advisor and Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS) Chairman His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa stressed keenness on preserving Bahrain’s long-standing heritage, in line with the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa. He underscored the importance of safeguarding traditional heritage for the present and future generations, being a treasure trove and a cherished legacy of fathers and forefathers. HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa made the statement as he received the team in charge of the Ramadan TV Quiz Show “Al-Sariya”, in the presence of Information Affairs Minister Ali bin Mohammed Al-Romaihi and Youth and Sports Affairs Minister Ayman bin Tawfiq Almoayyed. He lauded valued the traditional heritage which represents an integral part of Bahrain’s deep-rooted history and a key pillar of the national identity that consolidates the values of loyalty and belonging to the Kingdom. He underlined his support to programmes and initiatives aimed at treasuring the traditional heritage to build bridges between past, present and future generations. He highlighted efforts to document the traditional heritage and encourage youngsters to learn their longstanding history, being the essence of national identity. Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, National Security Advisor and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sport (SCYS) His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa inaugurated “Al-Sariya” popular quiz show through a telephone call made to launch the programme. The daily programme, sponsored by Bahrain Telecommunication Company (Batelco), is broadcast on Bahrain TV at 10:30 pm from the Heritage Village in Ras Hayan. It is held in partnership between SCYS’ Popular Heritage Sport Committee and the Information Ministry. HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa conveyed over the phone call with which he launched the programnme the greetings of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, stressing HM’s keenness on following the TV quiz show. He congratulated the officials in charge of the programme on the holy month of Ramadan, pointing out the importance of the programme in highlighting the kingdom’s identity and history.more
His Majesty the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs, National Security Advisor and Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS) Chairman His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa issued an edict setting up the Traditional Sports Committee (Mawrooth). The newly-established panel will be affiliated with the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports Affairs (SCYS) and subject to its supervision and control. The edict stipulates the appointment of Khalifa bin Abdulla Al-Qaoud and Ali Mohammed Fadhel as chairman and vice chairman of the committee which includes as members Ahmed Khalid Khalfa, Mohammed Ahmed Al-Janahi, Abdulaziz Mohammed Al-Romaihi, Nader bin Jakhir Al-Arjani, Mohammed Ayedh Al-Merri, Rashid Dheyab Al-Romaihi and Khalifa Abdulaziz Al-Kaabi. HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa directed the committee to conserve Bahraini folk heritage and tradition sports, transmit the legacy down generations, strengthen its values within society and promote this longstanding heritage locally, regionally and internationally.more
His Majesty the King’s Representative for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, National Security Advisor and Supreme Council for Youth and Sports Affairs (SCYS) Chairman His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa received Youth and Sports Affairs Minister Ayman bin Tawfiq Almoayyed, who introduced to him a youth delegation led by Nada Al-Daihani, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Brilliant Lab startup, and Haya Al-Mana, Sustainability and Innovation director at Zain Kuwait. He was updated by Al-Daihani on the work carried out by the Kuwaiti youth delegation and the company "Brilliant Lab" aimed at providing advisory and technical services to support small and medium youth institutions to ensure their administrative development. Al Mana presented an overview of the company’s programme theme, “Zain Great Idea”, through which she addresses young people to enter the world of business and trade, and highlights youth’s ideas and works in order to highlight them in a modern approach. The delegation said that the cooperation between Kuwaiti and Bahraini youth would gain momentum in the future by establishing more activities in the field of entrepreneurship in addition to participating in upcoming international conferences and events, which paves the way to building a distinguished partnership. The meeting focused on the programmes and services offered by the Labor Fund (Tamkeen), benefiting Bahraini youth, stressing and initiatives to launch small and medium-sized entrepreneurship projects (SMEs). The focus was also on the Start-up Bahrain, a community initiative that brings together businessmen, companies, investors, incubators, educational institutions and the government of Bahrain with the aim of enhancing the culture of startups. HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa commended joint youth cooperation in all fields, hailing the keenness of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa and the Amir of Kuwait HH Shaikh Sabah Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on the importance of youth projects.more
