HM the King’s Personal Representative, President of the Supreme Council for Environment, His Highness Shaikh Abdulla bin Hamad Al Khalifa, welcomed HM the King’s Personal Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, Captain of the Royal Endurance Team, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, upon arrival at the Al-Sakhir Airbase today. First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sport, General Sports Authority Chairman and Bahrain Olympic Committee President, His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, in addition to a number of senior officials and ministers, were also present. HH Shaikh Abdulla bin Hamad welcomed HH Shaikh Nasser on his return, renewing his congratulations to him following the success of the Royal Endurance Team, under HH’s captaincy, in winning the title of the FEI World Endurance Championship for eight-year-old horses in Spain, outclassing 57 elite riders representing 20 countries in the 120km race. HM the King’s Personal Representative commended HH Shaikh Nasser’s achievement, wishing him continued success in bringing about more accomplishments for Bahraini sports, which enjoys the great support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the constant follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has today received, at Al Sakhir Palace, HM’s Representative for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs, Royal Endurance Team Captain, HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, who returned to Bahrain following the success of the Royal Endurance Team, under HH's captaincy, in winning the title of the FEI World Endurance Championship for eight-year-old horses in Spain, outclassing 57 elite riders representing 20 countries in the 120km race. HM the King congratulated HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad, taking pride in his global historic achievement which further enriches his record in international sports arenas and competitions. HM the King praised HH Shaikh Nasser’s efforts to prepare for the event as well as his outstanding performance which enabled him to triumph with great merit. HM the King said that this achievement reflects the advanced position enjoyed by Bahraini endurance sport and the continuous development it is witnessing, wishing HH Shaikh Nasser every success to claim further world championships and titles. National Security Advisor, Royal Guard Commander, Major General His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, stressed Bahrain’s keenness on cooperation with the USA in all fields, including the sector of energy. He noted the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the vision of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to consolidate cooperation with other countries to develop the sector of energy in Bahrain. Representative of HM the King for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, won the FEI Endurance World Championship for Young Horses 120 kilometre race. Over 57 endurance riders representing 20 countries worldwide took part in the race which was held today in Spain. His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa followed up the race, during which HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa triumphed, outclassing rivals from Uruguay, the United Arab Emirates, Spain and other countries. HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Royal Endurance Team Captain, was congratulated by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa immediately after triumphing in the race. on behalf of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, paid a visit today to the British Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain to offer condolences over the passing of Queen Elizabeth II. The visit was made in the presence of Foreign Minister Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani. HH Shaikh Nasser was welcomed on arrival by the British Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain Roddy Drummond. HH conveyed the condolences of HM the King. He also offered the condolences of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the British Royal family, the UK and the British people, recalling the good qualities of late Queen Elizabeth II who dedicated her life to promote the UK’s standing at all levels and boost friendly relations with the Kingdom of Bahrain. Al Rahawi, owned by HM the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa triumphed in the Saudi Crown Prince Camel Festival 2022. Al Rahawi shone in the festival, winning the second evening race in “Laqaya Qaadan” class, clocking 5 minutes and 57 seconds. HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad hailed the new victory which confirmed the strategy set out for Bahrain camel sports in external competitions. His Majesty the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Khalifa, has been crowned after triumphing in the World Endurance Championship in Šamorín, Slovakia. in Slovakia. HH Shaikh Nasser, Royal Endurance Team captain, received the cup after winning the 160-kilometre race, clocking 7 hours, 55 minutes and 42 seconds. Royal Endurance Team rider Jaffer Mirza received a cup for second place, while teammate Spanish jockey Rocio Esperanza Herrera finished third. Royal Endurance Team rider Uruguayan Cecilia finished fourth, followed by Raed Mahmoud, while HH Shaikh Isa bin Faisal bin Rashid Al-Khalifa came ninth.
