This came during His Highness’s patronage of the graduation ceremony for the tenth cohort of students from the Nasser Centre for Science and Technology, in the presence of His Highness Shaikh Hamad bin Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa. The ceremony was attended by a number of ministers, senior officials and parents. The Centre celebrated the graduation of 179 students from specialised educational pathways, including engineering, technological innovation, sports and business management.

During the ceremony, Dr Abdullah bin Nasser Al-Nuaimi, CEO of the Nasser Center for Science and Technology, delivered a speech in which he noted that the graduation marks a significant milestone in the Centre’s record of achievements over the past decade, and reflects the leading position it established in quality education and training by offering pioneering regional programmes and specialisations, expanding its services to include professional training for individuals and organisations, as well as developing artificial intelligence solutions for organisations. He added that graduates of this cohort successfully obtained a number of internationally recognised certificates and accreditations in cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, mechanical engineering, and electrical engineering, as well as sports and business administration, which reflects the success of these programmes in preparing qualified national talent in accordance with the highest academic standards and the requirements of rapidly evolving economic and technological sectors. He wished the graduates success in their professional and academic careers.

The Nasser Centre for Science and Technology continues to develop its educational pathways and expand its partnerships with international academic and professional institutions, which reinforces the Kingdom of Bahrain’s position as a leading centre for quality and specialised education in the region. This provides students with greater opportunities to gain practical experience and professional qualifications that enhance their academic and technical readiness and help develop leaders capable of bringing about positive change across a range of disciplines.
