Nasser bin Hamad participates in the Portugal International Endurance Raceالترجمة
His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, His Majesty’s Representative for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs and Captain of the Royal Endurance Team, participated in the Portugal International Endurance Race, covering a distance of 161.8 km, as part of the Royal Endurance Team’s current programme of events. His Highness finished the race in second place.
The race saw the participation of a number of riders from around the world and was held over six stages.
His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa affirmed the importance of international qualifying races in the team’s current programme, as they form part of the preparations required for the upcoming World Endurance Championship, which will be held in the United Arab Emirates.
His Highness noted that the team will continue its programme in the coming period and enhance the readiness of the riders and horses in line with the requirements of upcoming competitions.
First place went to Belgian rider Louna Schuiten, third place to Emirati rider Salem Mohammed Al Ketbi, and fourth place to Saudi rider Faisal Mohammed Al-Qurashi, while the Royal Team’s rider Abdulrahman Khalid Al Khatri came fifth.
